I have had experience of blogs before and have set one up for the Library here at the Chelsea campus http://cwlibrary.wordpress.com/

However, I’ve never had a personal blog so this is first.

I find blogs very useful as you can put information up for users in a very timely manner. This has been particularly useful when serving NHS staff who need information quickly. It is so handy to already have a page of which you just add the content, and has made it easy for me to teach the rest of the team how to contribute to the blog.

Web 2.0 course so far…

I’m very impressed! It’s very accessible, particularly for us at different campuses. It’s also set up well, very straight forward, not too complicated and very well presented. I’m looking forward to learning more, I think this is going to be very useful for my role and for the Library. Thanks )
